Kimberly Bliss has worked with non-profits for the past decade, with an emphasis on community engagement and public awareness. Her roles have included Executive Director, Equitable Communities; Teaching Artist Fellow, Community Word Project; Consultant, Marquis Studios, and Network Faculty, National Center for Economic Education, a program of The Council for Economic Education and Associate Director, The Project art gallery. She was named a co-winner in the 2014 Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance Social Enterprise Showdown and currently serves on the board of directors of several non-profits. When she is not writing grants for MedShadow Foundation she is writing fiction.
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
