
Dr. Stefanie Ferreri is a distinguished professor in the practice advancement and clinical education division at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy (Chapel Hill, North Carolina).
She has worked as a pharmacist in national chains, regional chains, independents and in hospitals. She is now dedicated to education and coaching working pharmacists.
Her main research interests include advancing patient care services in the community-pharmacy setting, medication optimization, and integrating community pharmacists into team-based care. She has more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and she has been an editor for the Handbook of Nonprescription Drugs for more than 10 years.
Dr. Ferreri speaks frequently at national conferences (including at the American Pharmacists Association and The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy) on topics related to pharmacy practice transformation, pharmacist-led patient care, and the future of medication management.
Dr. Ferreri is passionate about patient education and wants to ensure that each patient has a personalized pharmacist to help manage medications and navigate health care.
