Garnell was forced into a hyper-awareness of personal health when he was diagnosed with high cholesterol as a teenager. From there, he began meticulously studying every nutrition label, every medication, and every form of exercise that could positively or adversely affect his health. Thankfully, today he is medication-free and shares what he has learned in every way he knows how.
A writer by trade, Garnell began his career as a student at Montclair State University. After earning his BA in English, he entered the technical writing field as a copywriter and graphic designer for various advertising agencies. He further developed those skills as a communications agent with globally renowned companies like Delta Airlines and The Walt Disney Company and by publishing independent science fiction works, such as The Legend of Jericho.
He now works as a certified digital marketer and continues to expand his education at Georgia State University’s School of Business and the Harvard Extension School. When it comes to writing, Garnell says, “I believe that if you ever find yourself in a position of power, it’s important that you extend that to the people around you. I’m most powerful in my words, my ability to execute, and in my understanding of how to maintain health. So these are the tools I’m going to use to help others feel as powerful as I do.”
