I hope what I am gong through now is short term and not permanent. This drug made me feel terrible. And I do not know if I will ever recover. I even went to ER. They told me safe to keep taking. I am glad I stopped taking it.

I used this drug and it made me feel dizzy and then I could barely walk because the muscle in my legs started to hurt. I only took it for 4 days and then stopped. I told the prescriber what happen and then I had another bout wit kidney stones and another doctor recommended the same medication for me. I told the 1st prescriber to make a note on my chart. She said she did but I don’t think she did. I did not take the medication and I did pass my kidney stone without a problem. I would be very Leary about taking this medication.it took months before the pain went away.

After ten years, my daughter’s disability caused by cipro has only increased. The disavowal by pharmaceutical companies of any responsibility, the lack of understanding and acceptance of the harm that powerful drugs can cause, and the unavailability of properly trained doctors have all contributed to her daily pain and deteriorating health. In my opinion, this drug should be banned.
