Dementia Drugs Reduce Heart Attacks

Drugs used to treat Alzheimer’s seem to have the beneficial side effect of reducing both the death rate and the heart attack rate by 35%. Caution, this is an observational study, which is basically a review of records. It does not establish “causality,” meaning it could be a coincidence or could be something else causing this good effect. From Science Daily.
