Repeated issues.
I was happy to try the generic however, after the first week I was having agitation issues and was not myself. The medication was not working. I talked to my doctor who said I was the 2nd patient that reported the same thing (he doesn’t have many patients on Vyvanse). He sent a medical necessity request to my insurance company.
That worked fine for a while, but now my insurance company is asking for continued updates from my doctor on filling the name brand.. local pharmacies keep trying to give me the generic and I have actually run out of medication several times.
I’ve had to constantly call the doctor’s office which takes time away from other patients and annoys the staff.
This is an ongoing issue and patients shouldn’t have to feel like drug addicts to get needed medication.
Class action suit sounds like it could be needed,
I absolutely am part of this, what do I need to do and who do I contact the generic one is not working whatsoever it caused me a lot of problems
If you find out there is one I have kept data and pictures and have a pharmacist who has helped me with my issues and actually believed me and helped me by filling out the forms to report the generic manufacturer. Please email me if you find out anything. I’ve emailed the author of this article as well about more detailed issues. I’d be happy to join in a conversation with you. I’m in Missouri.
I agree. I would be happy to talk with you & join you in this effort too. I emailed the author of this article some details and pictures and documentation I have and I have a pharmacist who has worked with me to document and send things in to
report the generic. I’m in Missouri.
No generic Vyvanse is equivalent to the brand name. Very unfortunate because Vyvanse saved my life over a decade ago. I’m ready for class action whenever the lawyers decide to go at these crooks.
From 2012 to 2018, Pfizer and Tris continually manipulated Quillivant testing to hide poor manufacturing practices and defraud the Texas Medicaid program. During this time, many families complained that the medication failed to work.Nov 20, 2023
