This is a very good website. It list the drugs that should be avoided by seniors. I don’t see at what age “senior” starts however. Is it 65, 70, or 75? Thank you.

My dr. Prescribed Advil and it makes me restless. I was taking Aleve before my knee replacement every second night and 8 hr Tylenol every second night . I feel I am allergic to Tylenol as my legs are reddened and I do get hives. That and Dilaudid was all that was offered in hopital and I took them 8, 12, 5 and 10 pm with Dilaudid at 2 am and before physio for 18 days then went home with nothing for pain. I just started to take 500 gm Tylenol 4 x day and wouldn,t take the Dilaudid which the dr. Ordered but I wouldn,t be allowed to drive . I had no one to drive me as thr Lift was always booked and I had to phone a week in advance for a ride at 8:30 am. So I wouldn,t take the Dilaudid so I can drive myself as it,s my left knee.

This article has very much opened my eyes. The meds that I was prescribed is no good for seniors especially if you have thyroid problems like I do. My thanks from my heart to the author of the real truth!! This article was very well written. Hands up for someone who really care about the safety of people. Please cale at 516.602.3843
